Conventionally, contaminated soils are excavated and treated off site in a soil treatment center. However, in quite some cases, treating soils on site is far more sustainable and economical.
If contaminated soils cannot be excavated or excavation is too complex to be conducted, soil &and groundwater can be remediated by in situ remediation.
