Starting of in-situ remediation system in a highly sensitive production area

GreenSoil started the remediation system on a site in Belgium where the source area is located underneath an active and highly sensitive production area.
This is the 3rd phase of a large remediation project. Installation works started in July 2019. GreenSoil installed the entire in-situ remediation system complying with the requirements of the client (dust and vibration free environment). The remediation system consists of a using Multiphase Extraction until about 4 m-gl, and stimulation of the anaerobic biological degradation in the soil layer until 10 m-gl. In September the floors and the walls in the area were restored as can be seen in the pictures.
In November the groundwater circulation unit and the Multi Phase Extraction units (control, groundwater- and air treatment) were installed at the site.
